Love the concept of these, but.. you have to be very mindful of how you walk with the gaff covers on. The cables can get caught either on your other leg or on brush and will pull the ring through the gaff cover and/bend up the cable causing it to not retract properly. Aside from that, I love being able to kick them off before climbing and not have to worry about them getting covered up or stepped on. If Buckingham could upgrade the gaff covers to be made of metal and having the inside lined with something to not damage the gaffs, then they’re be pretty much perfect.
